If you have never attended Bible Study, please come and join us! We are not looking for experts and there are no experts here. You are not the only newbie! Last year nearly half of the women who signed up were new to bible study. Don't fret or think twice. There is no better investment you can make with your time than to study God's word. The bible says
Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away,
but my words will not pass away.
Maybe you have been studying with us for years, the bible, as you know, never gets old and is rich and brand new every time we read it.
You will enjoy studying God's Word with a group of women of all ages. So come and enjoy fellowship as you learn and grow closer to Jesus. We will be studying
"Prophets: Messengers of God's Mercy" in the Spring
Childcare provided for the AM session
Class Format (approx 90 minutes):
- Fellowship Time for coffe, snack and fellowship.
- Opening( ~10 minutes) - The group settles in and opens with prayer. Announcements are made at this time.
- Small Group Discussion(~45 minutes) - Participants break into small groups to discuss the study questions for the weekly lesson. (Participants are expected to have read the lesson material and answered the study questions prior to class each week.)
- Large Group Reflection(~30 minutes) - All participants gather for a reflection/lecture/video designed to draw participants into a deeper understanding of the Scripture on which the lesson is based and how we are called, as disciples of Christ, to respond.
