Over the last year and a half, we have been able to maintain our Little Free Pantry thanks to generous donations from parishioners, local groups, and neighborhood drives (see the story below) as well as the many volunteers who sorted, stored, and stocked the Pantry on a daily basis.
The new plan will allow us to access a greater supply of donations from across McKinney and to stock the Pantry twice a day rather than just once.
Donations will all be stored at “The Olive Branch” in the Sanchez Charities building at 2000 N. McDonald. Twice a day, St. Gabriel volunteers will pick up prepacked crates of everything we need to stock our Pantry. All information can be found at
mckinneylfp.org. There you will find the
Current Needs list and several ways to donate; at donation drop-off locations, through the St. Gabriel Food Shuttle Monday Porch Pickup, and directly through Amazon.
We are so grateful for this opportunity to increase our ability to help those in need in our community.
