Jesus calls us to love our neighbor and models how to care for the most vulnerable of society. Our Justice & Service Ministry is a coordination of all our justice and service efforts. The ministry is comprised of various parish teams and community collaborators. It carries out the work of the ministry through the coordination of all the parish's service projects, collection drives, charitable fundraising, financial contributions to service organizations, and various other initiatives. The foundation of the ministry is influenced by the goals of Catholic Social Teaching, the Corporal Works of Mercy, and guided by Jesus's call to love.
There are many organizations in our local community that share our Catholic calling to "love thy neighbor." Below is a list of organizations registered with St. Gabriel as official "community collaborators." St. Gabriel offers a helping hand to their organizations to help them achieve a common goal of serving the vulnerable and those in need. These organizations and their activities are not organized directly by St. Gabriel, but we contribute in some way and encourage our parishioners to get involved with their efforts.
