If you are saddened by the death of a loved one, give yourself some time to work through the natural process of grieving. The Ministry of Consolation provides a grief support group to help you cope with your grief and pain after the death of a loved one and to support you as you learn to go on with life. The Ministry uses the New Day eight-step process based on William Worden’s four tasks of mourning.
Two facilitators (Carrie Simon and Jim Casey) from the Ministry of Consolation lead the group which meets one evening a week for 8 weeks. Meetings are confidential and books are provided as a stewardship-supported program (Freewill donation offering).
