Every Friday during Lent except Good Friday a Lenten dinner will be served by the Knights in the Kelly Center from 5-7:30 PM. Take-out is available till 7 PM. Stations of the cross will take place in the church at 7:00 PM. Bring the family for one or all of our Lenten Fridays!
April is set to be a great night where we will hear from our Seminarian, Allen-Michael Muench, on the witness of marriage in the modern world. This beautiful tradition is from Eastern Europe, but ALL are welcome to bring an Easter basket filled with special food and be a part of this tradition. Some of the items in these baskets include: Eggs, Bread, Salt, Horseradish, Kielbasa or Ham, Cheese, & Butter.
Join us for a fun celebration of our Risen Lord with an Easter Egg hunt. After the 11 am Mass in the field behind the Kelly center, we will gather for a family-friendly Easter tradition. There will be hunts for different age groups from little bitties to teenagers.
This is a time dedicated to praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy as a group in front of the Blessed Sacrament, which is a prayer given by Christ Himself to St. Faustina to be recited by the faithful to implore mercy for themselves and the whole world.
The rosary is known to be the most powerful intercessory prayer. Taking it even further, a Scriptural Rosary meditates on each mystery during a decade’s prayers by reciting a verse of Sacred Scripture between each Hail Mary or a longer passage between each decade. Join others in praying the rosary in front of the Blessed Sacrament.
Game Day is an annual fundraiser sponsored by the Women's Club. It is open to the entire McKinney community and consists of games and prizes. Groups of 4 reserve tables and bring their games of choice. We also provide a lovely brunch.
