Who is CONFIRMATION Preparation for:
Youth in grades 9 thru 12 who are:- Baptized and have already received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion seeking to prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation
In order to provide a foundation of community and faith this is a sacramental preparation process that includes:
About the Process:- Participation in High School Youth Nights ALONG WITH our Confirmation Preparation program, which includes:
- Mandatory Parent Orientation
- Meet with your child to have "Parent Stepping Stone" conversations
- Meeting individually with a chosen sponsor for "Milestone conversations"
- Completion of administrative items related to Sacramental record-keeping
- Session to review and rehearse receiving your Confirmation
- Celebrate! Mass to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation
To provide the best foundation to receive the Sacrament, we encourage high school youth to participate in a formation program the year prior to Confirmation Preparation.
