For various reasons, sometimes one who was Baptized and recieved their First Eucharist does not complete their initation into the Catholic Church by recieving the Sacrament of Confiramtion. If this is you, the grace of God may be calling you to particpate in this process.
This process is for adults, ages 18+ and out of high school, who has been baptized and received their First Communion.
We typically offer adult Confirmation preparation classes one time each year in the month of May, and celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation on Pentecost Sunday. We sometimes will schedule another class with enough inquiries. Please contact us for more information about our next adult Confirmation.
The Confirmation Sponsor assists the person to be confirmed by joining the candidate on his or her journey of faith, before and after the celebration of the sacrament, helping the candidate to live as a true witness to Jesus Christ. Therefore, it is best to select someone whom you admire for being a true witness of their Catholic faith. To be a sponsor, one must meet the qualifications below.

To receive the fullness of the gifts of Confirmation, one is to be in a state of grace, meaning free from sin. Therefore, while an opportunity to attend Reconciliation is not directly connected to our Adult Confirmation Preparation process, it is stronly advised that you go to Confession before the day of your Confirmation.
