Who is this Eucharist & Reconciliation Preparation for:
Youth 6th or 7th grade who is:- Baptized and who seeking to prepare to celebrate the sacrament of Reconciliation and receive First Holy Communion.
About the Process:
In order to provide a foundation of community and faith, this is a one-year sacramental preparation process that includes:- Year 1: Participation in Fusion Youth Nights ALONG WITH these five Eucharist & Reconciliation gatherings:
- Parent Orientation on the role and expectations for the year (September 8, 2024)
- Reconciliation session for students (November 2024)
- Day retreat with parents and students to discuss the Eucharist and what it is (March 29, 2025)
- Rehearsal for First Holy Communion Mass (Saturday, April 26, 2025 - 10:30 AM)
- Celebrate! Mass to receive your First Holy Communion
Those in the 7th grade are also able to prepare to receive the sacrament of Confirmation in the 8th grade as part of their year 2.
