August 1st CLW Lesson

A reading from the Gospel according to John 6:24-35: Jesus said to his disciples, "Work for food that will last for eternal life which the Son of Man will give you."  Jesus was asked, "What should we do to work for God?" and Jesus said they should believe in him.  Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst.”

Just like we eat food when we are hungry and drink water when we are thirsty, there is another kind of hunger that we need to fulfill - a spiritual hunger - that only Jesus can feed.  

1) Who said, “I AM the Bread of Life?” (Jesus)
2) Who will feed us spiritually? (Jesus)
3) What can we do to grow spiritually and show Jesus how much we love
him? (Attend mass, pray for others, help at home, share our toys with
siblings, etc.)
