We believe that God calls us to live the Good News of Jesus Christ and to be his disciples as members of the Catholic Church. If you are interested in the Catholic faith, we invite you to participate in the process of becoming Catholic. This process is called the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults or RCIA. Through the RCIA process the baptized and unbaptised alike can boldly question and learn what "being Catholic" is all about.
Becoming Catholic Inquiry Sessions:
The RCIA inquiry sessions offer an opportunity to consider and explore the main teachings of the Catholic faith, one's relationship with God, and what it means to become Catholic. Each session has topical presentations. We create a non-judgmental and accepting environment to safely ask questions and interact with the presenters, fellow participants, and other members of our community. After a period of inquiry sessions, individuals are invited to consider deeper preparation and next steps. A journey through the whole process may guide an individual to enter the Catholic Church at the Easter vigil Mass in the spring.
While the RCIA inquiry sessions start in the fall of each year, individuals who are interested in becoming Catholic can contact the coordinator at any time to learn more and discuss how to begin. Inquiry sessions typically take place Sunday mornings.
