St Gabriel parishioners showed up in a big way on super bowl Sunday to donate blood and save lives. We had 60 donors sign up, with almost 100% honoring their appointments. Carter BloodCare collected a record-breaking 53 units of blood and appreciated the friendliness of our community.

Jim and Mary Johnsrud, members of St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, pose at their home. Jim Johnsrud suffers from a rare liver disease but because of its degree is only eligible for a living organ donor transplant, but circumstances surrounding COVID-19 have made such matches more difficult than in years past.

The AV ministry has become a vital part of weekend and special Masses. We are in need of more people (high school age and up) who are willing to serve in this capacity.

I was blessed to come to St. Gabriel’s for my pastoral year in September 2017 and I was there until May of 2018. I spent the year under the supervision of Fr. Don; He and Fr. Charles taught me so much while I was there at the parish.
