Boys and girls of the parish are invited to serve God and their parish by becoming Altar Servers. They are trained to assist the priest during the celebration of the Eucharist and at special liturgical celebrations. They hold the sacred books for the Priest and assist with the gifts at the Presentation during the Mass.
All youth in Middle School and High School are encouraged to join the Altar Server ministry so they can learn to appreciate and participate more fully in the Eucharist.
Altar and Linens Care -- Sewing, washing, and ironing the linens used for the weekend and daily masses, holy days of obligation and other liturgical services are joyfully and prayerfully done by this ministry.
Volunteers work primarily from home and on a schedule that accommodates their personal and work lives.

The welcoming committee greets everyone as they come to Mass and offers information to all guests and new members. The welcoming committee's goal is to make sure every person that enters the doors of St Gabriel are greeted with a smile and are helped with any needs he/she may have.
To get involved contact Fred Fedri. All that's needed is a smile!
Participating in the Holy Mass is a wonderful way to experience Christ and serve the community of St Gabriel. In order to be trained as an Extraordinary Minister of Communion (distribute the Eucharist) or a Lector (proclaim the Word), please contact Audrey or Karen in the worship office.
